I love the different things that can be done with this Crock Pot Easy Pulled Pork.  It is amazing all on its own and for the left overs I love to add a little bbq sauce and its like having an entirely different meal!

 

Crock Pot Easy Pulled Pork / FREEZER FRIENDLY
 
Ingredients
  • 5 lb pork roast
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • **DRY RUB**
  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Oregano
  • ½ tsp chipolte powder
  • 2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
  1. Freezing instructions:
  2. Mix dry rub ingredients, then rub onto roast
  3. Place roast in freezer bag
  4. Add sliced onions to the freezer bag.
  5. Take our 24 hours before to thaw in the fridge
  6. Pour freezer bag contents into crock pot so the onions are on the bottom.
  7. Cook on high for 6 hours or until roast falls apart when touched.
  8. Shred and serve
  9. To cook right away:
  10. Slice onions and layer on the bottom of the crock pot
  11. Mix ingredients for dry rub, then rub into the roast.
  12. Place roast into crock pot onto onion bed. Cook on high for 6 hours or until roast falls apart when touched.
  13. Shred and serve
