I love the different things that can be done with this Crock Pot Easy Pulled Pork. It is amazing all on its own and for the left overs I love to add a little bbq sauce and its like having an entirely different meal!
Crock Pot Easy Pulled Pork / FREEZER FRIENDLY
Ingredients
- 5 lb pork roast
- 1 large onion, sliced
- **DRY RUB**
- 3 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. Oregano
- ½ tsp chipolte powder
- 2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Freezing instructions:
- Mix dry rub ingredients, then rub onto roast
- Place roast in freezer bag
- Add sliced onions to the freezer bag.
- Take our 24 hours before to thaw in the fridge
- Pour freezer bag contents into crock pot so the onions are on the bottom.
- Cook on high for 6 hours or until roast falls apart when touched.
- Shred and serve
- To cook right away:
- Slice onions and layer on the bottom of the crock pot
- Mix ingredients for dry rub, then rub into the roast.
- Place roast into crock pot onto onion bed. Cook on high for 6 hours or until roast falls apart when touched.
- Shred and serve
