My family loves fajitas and I love having this Crock Pot Fajitas recipe to be able to make an easy dinner my family enjoys.
Crock Pot Fajitas / FREEZER FRIENDLY
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 large onion cut into ½ inch strips
- 1 green bell pepper cut into ½ inch strips
- 1 red bell pepper cut into ½ inch strips
- ¾ cup water
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic salt
Instructions
- Freezer instructions:
- Place chicken in freezer bag.
- Place onion and peppers on top of the chicken
- Mix water, vinegar, lime juice, and spices and pour over meat/ peppers and onion.
- Take out the night before to thaw in the fridge.
- Spray crock pot with non stick spray
- pour freezer bag contents into the crock pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
- serve on tortillas with lettuce and cheese and any other toppings you like.
