The Crock Pot Honey Romano Pork Chops has a little more to it then just throwing it in the crock pot. It would be good served with baked potatoes or even fried potatoes.
Crock Pot Honey Romano Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lbs pork chops
- ¾ cup of Romano (already grated) cheese
- ½ cup of honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbs dried Basil
- 2 Tbs minced garlic
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 2 Tbs corn starch
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Freezing Instructions:
- place pork chops in freezer bag.
- In mixing bowl mix Romano cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, minced garlic and olive oil.
- Pour mixture over pork chops.
- Take out of freezer the night before to thaw in the fridge.
- Spray Crock pot with non stick cooking spray
- place mixture in crock pot
- Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours
- **Before serving:
- Mix the corn starch with the ¼ cup water
- Take the liquid out of the crock pot and put in a small pan, boil liquid and add the corn starch, water mixture.
- KEEP STIRRING and you will have a tasty gravy for pork chops and potatoes.
- Instructions to cook right away:
- Spray Crock pot with non stick cooking spray
- Place pork chops in crock pot
- mix together honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, Romano cheese and olive oil
- pour mixture over pork chops and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours
