Crock Pot Rustic Chicken Stew / FREEZER FRIENDLY

For the Crock Pot Rustic Chicken Stew the potatoes don’t get added to the freezer bag.  Just add them to the crock pot the day your making it.

 

Crock Pot Rustic Chicken Stew / FREEZER FRIENDLY
 
Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion, wedged
  • 2 cups baby carrots
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 Tbs seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp parsley flakes
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • DON'T FREEZER THE ITEMS BELOW
  • ⅕ lbs red skinned potatoes, halved
  • 3 Tbs corn starch
  • ½ cup milk
Instructions
  1. Freezing instructions:
  2. Place chicken, seasonings, carrots and onions into gallon sized freezer bag.
  3. Thaw overnight in fridge
  4. Pour freezer bag contents into crock pot and add potatoes.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours
  6. Whisk cornstarch into milk, stir into the crock pot and cook for an additional 15 minutes on high
  7. Instructions to cook right away:
  8. Place chicken, seasonings, and all vegetables into the crock pot.
  9. Cook on low for 6 hours
  10. Whisk cornstarch into milk, stir into the crock pot and cook for an additional 15 minutes on high
