Easter Table Centerpiece

wpid-C360_2014-03-20-12-25-22-888.jpg My house is starting to look more and more festive!  Today I made this table centerpiece with things from around the house and from Dollar Tree.  I got the little blue bucket and the “grass” as well as a small Styrofoam insert(the kind you use for making flower arrangements) from Dollar Tree.  The bow, Easter eggs and Popsicle sticks were things I found around the house.
First I used mostly the eggs that open length wise. They were much easier to cut.  I used a scissors to cut a small hole in the bottom of the eggs just big enough to fit a popsicle stick.  Then I stuck the styrofoam into the bucket and put the other end of the popsicle stick into the foam.  After I had all the Easter eggs arranged how I wanted them I added hot glue to the styrofoam and started sticking the “grass” to the foam.  I found a ribbon I liked and just tied a simple bow around the bucket to add a little more color.  This makes a cute little table centerpiece or it could be something you put on the fireplace mantel for some fun Easter decoration!
