Homemade Baby wipes

You’ll need the following items:
  1. Bounty Paper Towels Mega PLUS Roll or Viva paper towles – These paper towels are very thick and will not break. Do NOT get thin cheap paper towels or you won’t be very happy.  (I suggest getting the select a size
  2. 2 T. Baby Wash  – Any brand will do.
  3. 1 1/2 T. Baby Oil  – Again, any brand is fine.
  4. 2 Cups Warm Water
  5. Waterproof Sterilite Container – I got mine from Wal-Mart for about $4. Any waterproof container large enough (3 Liters) will work.
Take your paper towel roll and cut it in half so it looks like a large roll of toilet paper. (Note: If your husband has a thing for knives like mine does, this is a great excuse for him to be able to use them!) Remove the cardboard tube from the center, as shown below. Next, mix your warm water, 2 T. baby wash and 1 1/2 T. baby oil in your waterproof container. Place your cut paper towel roll in the container and put the lid on. Now flip your container upside down for 1 to 2 hours so the warm water and soap can soak all the way through the paper towels. When using the wipes, pull from the center, as shown.

You can also use these to
refill your little wipe containers!
We just pull out about 10 sheets
and fold them accordion style in the container.
They will pull through the slot just fine!
