Kids craft/ suntan lotion

This is a craft I saw on a show my 2 1/2 year old, Isaiah, watches.  (Sid the science kid)
We took a piece of construction paper, suntan lotion, and some q tips outside to do this project.  We used the q tips like paint brushes.  (Isaiah isn’t a fan of getting things on his hands)  We dipped the q tips into the suntan lotion and drew our pictures.  Now the papers are out in the sun..getting a “tan”
The idea according to Sid is that the paper will fade..all except for the parts that have the suntan lotion on them.  The suntan lotion should protect our paper just like it does our skin!  We will check our papers again after they have been out in the sun for a few hours.  We will post pictures of the outcome! 🙂
