Ladies lets talk HAIR! Hair and makeup are something women typically spend quiet a bit of money on.
I don’t like to spend much money getting my hair done. Usually I go get a box color and color it myself. Then let flip my head upside down so my husband could cut it. Yes I just said my husband cut it.
The first time he did it I was pretty nervous, however trusted he could cut a straight line. If it would have turned out really bad I could go somewhere and have them fix it. He did great and has cut it a few more times since then.
I decided I wanted to go lighter with my color but didn’t want to do the box color because of horror stories about people trying to go a lighter color and ending up with orange hair. NOT WHAT I WANTED! I called around and of coursed asked around in all the mommy groups on Facebook. I found someone that said she could help. She would look at my profile pics and come up with ideas she thought would work best for me. We could then get together to talk. I set up the appointment and I was so nervous!
I went in with my two boys and waited for her to be ready for me. It took about 2 hours and patience from my boys and I was done. My hair was slightly shorter and the color lighter! 🙂 She even curled it beautifully. I couldn’t believe the amount of money I had just spent but with how beautiful my hair looked I think it was worth it. I just think I saved so much the past few years coloring it myself and letting my husband cut it that it is OK to spend a little more every now and then!
