Creamy Green Spaghetti

Don’t let the name fool you this is sooo tasty..I love to make this when we are having people over for dinner.  Just watch a house guests face when you tell them you are having Creamy Green Spaghetti lol but then when they try it there are NO complaints!  I have gotten all rave reviews on this recipe!

What you will need:
3/4 lb.spaghetti uncooked
2 tsp.oil
1small onion, chopped
1green pepper, chopped
2 clovesgarlic, minced
4 cups torn romaine lettuce leaves
1 tub(10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme
1/4 cupmilk
1 cupfresh cilantro
1 cupKRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

  1. Cook spaghetti as directed on package. Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add onions, peppers and garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in lettuce; cook 2 min. or until wilted. Transfer to blender. Add cooking creme, milk and cilantro; blend until smooth. Return to skillet. (before I put the sauce back in the skillet I usually cut up 2 chicken breasts and cook them in the skillet then add the sauce and spaghetti to that)
  2. Drain spaghetti. Add to sauce in skillet; cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until heated through.
  3. Remove from heat. Top with mozzarella; cover. Let stand 2 to 3 min. or until mozzarella is melted.
