This crock pot Mongolian beef recipe is great served with a little bit of sliced fresh green onions and some rice!
Crock Pot Mongolian Beef / FREEZER FRIENDLY
Ingredients
- 1 lb stew meat
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 onion, thickly sliced
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp fresh minced ginger
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
Instructions
- Freezer instructions:
- Put stew meat in a gallon size freezer bag.
- Mix all other ingredients and pour into the freezer bag with the stew meat.
- To cook take out of the freezer the night before and let it thaw in the fridge.
- The next morning pour the contents of the bag into the crock pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Serve with rice!
