Crock pot Honey Garlic Chicken / FREEZER FRIENDLY

I was ready to put this Honey Garlic Chicken in the crock pot the other day but decided since the weather was so nice outside I’d wait and throw it on the grill.  I decided I didn’t want dirty dishes (I had a long day of pulling up carpet that day)  so I threw everything on grill.

Crock pot Honey Garlic Chicken / FREEZER FRIENDLY
  • 6 Chicken drumsticks
  • 5 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup spicy honey bbq sauce
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • just a pinch of salt and pepper
  1. Freezing instructions:
  2. Place chicken in gallon size freezer bag
  3. Mixes spices, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, and bbq sauce and pour in bag over chicken.
  4. Take out of freezer the night before to thaw in the fridge.
  5. Pour all the contents from the bag into the crock pot.
  6. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  7. *I let the chicken thaw completely and threw it on the grill instead of using the crock pot.
  8. To cook right away just place the chicken in the crock pot.
  9. Mix all the other ingredients and pour over the chicken
  10. Cook on low for 6 hours.
