Crock Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken / FREEZER FRIENDLY
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast.
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp seasoning salt
- ¼ tsp ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- tsp dried parsley
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- ½ cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Freezing instructions:
- Place chicken in gallon sized freezer bag.
- Mix all other ingredients and pour over chicken in the freezer bag.
- Take out the night before to thaw in the fridge.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours
- Serve over rice or buttered egg noodles or if I'm cooking on the gill I'll throw some diced potatoes into a foil pouch and with some olive oil and diced onion and put the foil pouch on the grill.
- If preparing right away:
- Spray the crock pot with non-stick cooking spray
- Place chicken breasts into slow cooker.
- Add all remaining ingredients and cover.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Serve over rice or buttered egg noodles or if I'm cooking on the gill I'll throw some diced potatoes into a foil pouch and with some olive oil and diced onion and put the foil pouch on the grill.
